I gave this kart to my 2.5 year old for Christmas…. he loves it. I also gave my 4.5 year old the buddy version which is built much better and easier to assemble. Overall the kart is nice and works for what he needs now. I just wish it had better tires like the buddy has… I will definitely be upgrading him in a couple years, but this is a great learning kart for him.

This kid cart was very well made. The parts were sturdy, it looks cool and was easy to assemble. The seller was also very helpful with some questions we had. It would fit most kods 3-7 like they say. The colors really stand out too. The only thing I would say it needs is straps for the feet peddles. I might look into some other Berg go karts with hybrid power, seeing as how this gokart is high quality I know now their other power carts will probably be just as good. Thank you!

Took about 2hrs to assemble by myself on Christmas night a little tired and a little tipsy . Double checked making sure everything was tight the next morning. He has been driving it around the house ever since. Perfect for a 4-5 year old .

The quality is exceptional even though it’s made in China. The hardware is mediocre. Before assembly I moved the pedals to test the chain operation and noticed a slight bind with an audible tick. I removed the chain covers and noticed the masterlink was installed backwards as shown in the photo. I also noticed the absence of flat washers where the slotted holes are. I removed the masterlink and installed the opposite way and that fixed the issue. Came with all the tools required to assemble which was pretty sweet. FYI…the front suspension is for looks only it’s not functional. The description of this item makes you think both rear tires are driven by the chain but this is NOT true. I modified ours by welding on a toothed sprocket as shown in the photo. Making the sprocket took a little time, but was able to use the existing sprocket to trace out the profile onto a large round washer. *EDIT* I highly recommend not doing this modification! With both tires locked up you are unable to steer! The inside tire needs to turn slower than the outside tire. After some experience with the go-kart pedaling is fairly difficult if you live on a hill. This toy is meant for flat surfaces like a parking lot for example.

Was fairly easy to put together, but it was missing some screws and a few small parts. Luckily my husband was able to improvise. Other than that, it’s a pretty nice bike.

My older daughters each got a Berg Buddy Lua last Christmas and have loved them. We got our son this Berg Reppy Racer this year. The models are of different build quality and some features such as the tire material are different. My only concerns were screws that were tightened too tight in the factory that caused the plastic housing to crack and break during shipping. Also, part of the main tubular steel connection point was dented which made assembly of the front and rear halves very difficult. Is it rideable? Yes. Will it be safe? Yes. Assembly on Christmas Eve was difficult and I wanted him to be able to see it Christmas morning but I am not as satisfied as I was with the other 2 carts we have. I thought spending more money for the Berg product meant quality……
