I researched different pedal karts for weeks before I purchased this one. The box shows 4-10 but the Amazon description shows 4-8 (as of the day of this review). I read other reviews saying older kids were able to ride this Hauck pedal kart so I had hope that it would last a couple years for my daughter. My daughter is a thin, petite 9 year old. She will be 10 this month so I knew she would be well under the weight limit for this pedal kart. I took a chance and ordered hoping she wouldn’t be too big. This kart is definitely for a much smaller child, I would say 4-6. Even though my daughter is tiny, her knees on the last setting are basically touching the wheel. She does love riding but will outgrow it for sure the same year she got it. Another reviewer mentioned that her child had a sore back after riding and I thought that was kind of crazy but now I can see it being accurate. My daughter says the seat is pretty uncomfortable and she did have red marks on her back after riding. Overall, it’s a good/sturdy pedal kart but I would not recommend for anyone over 7 if you want to have some use out of it before its outgrown.

This is a great toy for the money! My three year old loves it. He is a little small for it and the range of adjustment in the seat is not enough bring it far enough forward for him to use. I solved that problem with a old cushion and stretch cord to bring the seat back out to where he can press against it. He can ride it fine with that – so if you have a child on the smaller/younger end you might have to get a little creative.Assembly was very easy and fast, I did not use them but it came with tools you could use if you haven’t got a socket set handy. It will probably take you longer to get it out of the box than it will to assemble. Rubber on the wheels is really nice, both in terms of grip while being hard enough I think it will last a long while. I would highly recommend to any parents who might have children that want move beyond their tricycle but maybe are not ready for a bike.

It is very sturdy and is holding up very well considering my gson is a rough and tough he is big for his age so he will probably only use it for this summer no worries he has a lil sis to take over they have all motorized quads bikes etc was looking for a lil exercise for him and he rides this every chancebhe gets gonna look for a bigger one for next year.

All children ages 4-11 are enjoying it! The bigger ones are a bit tall for it but they still enjoy it as well! Seller was great to work with – responded instantly and took care that the item arrives on time – even earlier than we expected! Thank you Thank you!

This was a gift for my grandson & he absolutely loves it! He rides it as often as possible. He can pick up speed, the brake system is super easy to figure out, and itโs small enough to pack in the car with us!

My 8 year old loves it. Seems pretty durable. Light weight easy to lift in and out of car. Need to be careful not to tip if you Trump too sharp.

Kid loves it…only complaint is the plastic front piece pops off easily

Our son loves this so far! Had been sturdy and holds up to his crazy driving. He loves it and loves that he can control and drive this around. Was rarely easy to assemble for my husband.
