This tricycle is a great first bike for little kids. Assembly was easy and very quick. The steering pole behind the bike is a game changer with easy removal making it a breeze to transport. However, the trike was extremely squeaky from the start and needed an application of WD40 on the moving parts, which fixed the problem. The squeaking didnβt effect the operation of the trike at all, just made quite a racket. After three weeks or so, one pedal fell off and broke. Contacted Schwinn, who promptly sent out a replacement pedal free of charge. All in all, a good little trike.

Good overall. Missing tire plug caps, handlebars are a little bent from shipping as was the decorative wings on the back tires. Not bad for the price. Rolls great. The inflatable tires make a difference. Weβve owned the plastic wheeled big wheels and they were terrible on the sidewalks/roads. These are not that! They are actual mini bike tires.

I bought this tricycle for my grandson for Christmas. I read other reviews before I purchased it. I disagree with other reviews that this was difficult to put together. It took me fifteen minutes and I am a 60 year old woman. The owners manual was very easy to understand. The only thing I changed was that I took the board off the back with Schwinn written across it and gave both sides a couple coats of polyurethane. The board has no coating on it and I read another review that the board warped after it got wet. I thought it was best to protect the board before I gave the tricycle to my grandson. I am looking forward to seeing his reaction on Christmas Day. This is a very sturdy well made tricycle.

This is a Christmas present for a sweet granddaughter so she has not seen it yet. She will love it. It’s so darn cute!

This is such a classic trike! We have loved these for years. ?My eldest was gifted one 8 years ago, and she absolutely adored it until growing into a larger bike. Even still rides bikes to this day. So, we decided to purchase another, for her younger sister. ?I have exactly ONE QUALM with this purchase. Our trike tires came with NO VALVE STEM CAPS… ??ββοΈNow, I understand not shipping the tires with air in them. That makes total sense for different altitudes, and causing a potential hazard during shipping. Gotcha. But, to send no caps with it?Thats the only reason I didn’t give a full 5 star rating across the board. And, maybe, thats a fluke for our specific shipment. I couldn’t say for sure.Just in case, if purchasing this trike, have a set of caps on hand. That way, when the big day to reveal comes up, you’re not left wanting. Very easy to build. DO have an air compressor on hand.Overall, I am fully satisfied with my purchase. Just a tad confused.

Donβt fill front tire to the psi printed on the tire. Feel it as you fill it up or it will blow out if you fill it up to whatβs printed on tire.
